After a month and some, the World Series is finally amongst us! We have had many teams fall in defeat, and 2 conquer all. We have had many trades happen, and many of them very surprising. We have had some rather disappointing teams, and some rather surprising teams. We have had some breakout players, and some disappointing players. We have had some teams have dominant stretches, and some teams breakdown. Players have been fighting all year for the chance to play in the World Series; Players have been tired, bruised, injured, and flat out beaten up by the grind of playing 162 games. GM's have fought all year to play in the World Series; GM's have made trades, signings, releases to improve their team overall. Some of these moves worked out, and some didn't. For the most part, most trades did work out. Now, we finally have 2 teams narrowed down, squared off, prime for a World Series Championship. The Los Angeles Dodgers, and the Minnesota Twins. The Minnesota Twins, and the Los Angeles Dodgers. I don't want to put one behind the other; These have been the absolute best teams throughout the season, and definitely deserve to be in the position that they are in. I want to congratulate these 2 teams on a major accomplishment, even though 1 team will get the ultimate accomplishment.
